Young Thug was released from jail Thursday evening after pleading guilty to gang, drug and gun charges, in a dramatic twist that ended the longest criminal trial in Georgia history.
The 33-year-old Grammy winner, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, has spent more than 900 days behind bars since his arrest on racketeering and gang-related charges.Prosecutors alleged the rap label he founded was a front for an organised crime syndicate responsible for "75 to 80% of violent crime" in Atlanta. He was sentenced to time served and 15 years of probation. Prosecutors had planned to recommend a sentence of 45 years, including 25 in custody and 20 on probation. Arguing that YSL in fact stands for a criminal gang called Young Slime Life, they tied the men - including rapper Gunna - to a series of felony offences, including murder, armed robbery and carjacking in the streets of Atlanta.He has since been freed .

Megan Thee Stallion is admitting she lied to Gayle King about her relationship with Tory Lanez ... saying she was BS'ing when she told Gayle they never had sex .
The "Savage" rapper comes clean in her new Amazon Prime documentary "Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words," saying she hooked up with Tory once or twice when she was drunk.

Gayle pressed Megan for details about her relationship with Tory during a 2022 CBS Mornings interview about the July 2020 shooting. Meg accused Tory of firing a gun in her direction and telling her, "Dance, bitch" convicting him of assault with a semi-automatic firearm.

The Canadian rapper is currently serving a 10 Year sentence . We have reached out to Megan’s team so far no word back.
